Rabia Nizami, founder and promoter of the Sufi Tales initiative has been deeply inspired by her father, who named her after one of the first female Sufi saints – Rabia al-Basri. 
So she grew up with a deep sense of love and devotion to the world of Sufism, envisioning a place where she could share this spirit with the world.
'Sufism is for everyone'
It is with this belief as the very centerpiece that Rabia set out to build a space where people can come to be inspired, create, express, share and connect with people and the beautiful world around them.
'Love embraces all'
is the epicenter of what Rabia believes Sufi Tales to be.
A place which accepts every soul that enters here, with love and compassion, without judgement.

Nandini D'Souza - Graphics & Creative

Nandini is qualified in Production Design for Film & TV from London, UK, and in Communication and Applied Art from prestigious Indian schools like Sir J. J. School Of Applied Art and St. Xaviers Institute of Communication, Mumbai. She is passionate about creating good communication strategies through design, advertising, film and television. Her many talents include typography & type design and making stop motion movies. She loves travelling and photography, blessed as she is with a natural eye for light, shadow and colour-play, as well as odoor adventure sports, scuba diving and dogs.

Her favourite quote is "The attention is in the detail."

Sonia Rao - Content & Operations

Sonia was brought up in Lucknow, still a sleepy small town then, known for its Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb. A place where Hindus and Muslims have co-existed in communal harmony for centuries; where the cultural differences are blurred and meld into each other to give rise to its own unique tradition; where the language is polite and poetic. It is no wonder then that a concept like Sufi Tales appealed so much to her.

An Accessory Designer from the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, Sonia has a nuanced approach to design and keen eye for fashion products and lifestyle accessories.
